All IT equipment and telephone PABX's have at least one thing in common - they all need electrical supply.

This is the reason why Hensta expanded its core electrical business years ago, and entered the telecommunications cabling arena. But not before extensive training programs for technicians and other staff members were implemented to ensure that our personnel were as up to date with telecommunications installations as they were with electrical installations.

BICSI corporate membership & RCDD

As BICSI corporate members we are particularly proud of the fact that HENSTA was the first installation company in South Africa to have a BICSI registered RCDD in-house.

Who is BICSI?
BICSI is an international organisation that offers ongoing internationally recognised and standards-based education to members of the telecommunications industry.

What is an RCDD?
RCDDs or Registered Communications Distribution Designers, recognised as the cream of the industry, have extensive design and installation experience and have undergone rigorous training in order to pass a really tough exam. With only around 7000 RCDD's worldwide, there are currently less than 20 in South Africa.
